Jordan Fisher destined to win Dancing with the Stars season 25

Tagged: ,

There’s already a star in the making this 25th season on Dancing with the Stars.

After an outstanding opening night performance last week, Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold repeated with another strong performance Monday. Every couple of seasons you’ll see a star gracefully succeed every challenge and it seems this season that star is Jordan. Not to mention his partner Lindsay has been getting closer the last three seasons, finishing fourth, third and second, respectively.

With the new fantasy league Jordan and Lindsay should definitely be a favorite selection to win it all. The “hot mama” Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy is a strong duo that’s instantly had great chemistry and execution since opening night. With a consistent showing in week 2, this is a couple that can be dependent on when selecting three contestants on the weekly fantasy challenge. That third slot is a wildcard as you never know what duo will have the performance of their lives any given week.

Since we already know the favorites, here’s a projection from early exits to the top to project where these stars and dancers may fall.

13. As already predicted Barbara Corcoran with Keo Motsepe were sent home opening night. They tallied the lowest score on opening night and the duo didn’t seem to have that “want to see” factor where voters would come to their rescue. They slightly improved their score Monday night, when their fate was already decided, and it looks like having them first to go was the right decision as their performance didn’t measure up to the other contestants.

12. Drew Scott with Emma Slater. Although Drew overcame a hamstring injury to showcase a much improved performance in week 2 dancing the quick step, it may be a tad little too late. If viewers already found their favorites he may not get the votes to move on past Tuesday.

11. Debbie Gibson with Alan Bersten. They make a decent team and although with time they will get better, there’s other stars that show more room for potential. They will improve but it doesn’t look like they’ll crack the top 10. Definitely not a favorite for your fantasy league.

10. Lindsey Stirling with Mark Ballas. Partnered with someone who knows what it takes to win it all this couple turns out solid performances. While talented they will face an early exit due to votes. Their elimination will be an example of why people need to vote for their favorite dancers and show that scores is only half the weight on who advances.

9. Frankie Muniz with Witney Carson. Frankie has been doing all kinds of things to stay on the dance floor whether it’s physical therapy or yoga. He’s been fending off his stage fright and week 2 put on a good performance. However, there will be inconsistency with this duo as they don’t appear to be a couple that will be near the top of the score leader board week after week. They’ve have some seller performances mixed with some average. But in the end Malcolm will be stuck “in the middle.”

8. Nick Lachey with Peta Murgatroyd. There will be other couples better than them knocked off earlier but voters will keep Nick hanging around as its an interesting storyline surrounding him. His wife Vanessa is competing this season and his brother is a previous winner. Nick vowed he’d “never” compete on Dancing with the Stars but here he is. This couple will have their moments as they had early on but won’t be contender for the Mirrorball. They’ll catch a few breaks but eventually their time will catch up with them.

7. Derek Fisher with Sharna Burgess. Derek should have gotten a much higher score on opening night as he was sensational with his performance but improper salsa techniques cost him. Week two he came out confident but needing work on his dancing fundamentals. Among any dancer this season he’s shown an “it” factor where people, eve the judges admitted, would like to seem him dangling a little longer to see how he develops. Will he be around long enough to show his peak will remain to be seen but he’ll finish right outside the top five.

6. Sasha Pieterse with Gleb Savchenko. After all its in Sasha’s genes. Both parents being professional dancers, its inevitable that Sasha will pick up steam as the show progresses as she’s already shown flashes of great technique and performances. She’ll probably reach her potential with a solid finish against this season’s contestants.

5. Victoria Arlen with Val Chmerkovskiy. They make a scary team. Victoria was inspirational opening night hitting her dance steps without having feeling in her legs. It seemed like a great story but an early after a month. Then week 2 came around and it looked like Dancing with the Stars paired two professional dancers together. With only two performances thus far its difficult to put a finger on how well this team will do on a weekly basis. But I wouldn’t be surprised if this group cracked the top three as they shown the potential to do so week 2. And who wouldn’t want to see this inspirational story continue.

4. Terrell Owens with Cheryl Burke. Terrell has that superstar ability and the showmanship to potentially crack the top four. Week 1 it seems he received a much lover score than he should going first and judges starting with high expectations, however, he did have a fundamental dance break down with the “heal-toe” in a Latin dance violation. Week 2 he was solid but scores could get higher. Voters will keep him around because there’s potential with Terrell and partnered with Cheryl it looks like he’ll make strides but not enough to crack the top three. If he does hit another bad week there’s a possibility he could be gone much earlier.

3. Vanessa Lachey with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. This couple has all the makings to win a Mirrorball trophy. However, there may be a shocker heading to the final round. But if not don’t be surprised to see this couple give Jordan and Lindsay a run for their money.

2. Nikki Bella with Artem Chigvintsev. Nikki shown two different sides of herself on opening night, the physical “raw” tomboy who literally threw down her partner, compared to week 2 when she embraced her inner Nana with showing a soft tender side to herself. That interesting dynamic paired with her WWE popularity are reasons why she will be a contender as she’s shown promise in her first two performances.

Mirrorball winners: Jordan with Lindsay.

Episode three: week 2, night 2 airs tonight at 9pm EST.
