Demi Lovato has been busy lately.

She’s sang the National Anthem before Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing fight, performed during MTV’s Video Music Awards and has been appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America. All Lovato’s work has been leading up to the release of her album “Tell Me You Love Me.”

Lovato explained the meaning of her hit “Sorry Not Sorry” in an interview with MTV.

“I actually was thinking about the bullies that bullied me in school when I was younger and the song has been an anthem,” Lovato said during the interview.

In the music video she has Jamie Foxx, Wiz Khalifa and Paris Hilton featured in it as she wanted random friends of hers to make an appearance in the video, Lovato told MTV. The one person she couldn’t get but wanted was Bill Nye the Science Guy.

While Lovato has been active with her music career she’s also been leading efforts to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Partnering with Nick and Joe Jonas they developed a fundraiser with the Houston food bank and donated 50,000 water bottles, Lovato said on Good Morning America, Sept. 5.

“It’s just important that we continue to keep Houston in our prayers and in our thoughts,” Lovato said on GMA.

She also hasn’t been shy on speaking out against President Donald Trump’s plans to end DACA, a program that protects immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children, and she reveals why in an interview with Associated Press.

“It makes me want to cry when I talk about it,” Lovato told Associated Press on September 7. “Here are children that have been in our country and don’t know anything else and yet they’re going to be deported for no reason.

“We’re so fortunate in the United States…compared to some other countries…this is just a race problem and I think that it’s something that is just not right and we need to stand up for the things that we believe in.”

Working with Voto Latino, Lovato said she’s contacted her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, who’s also affiliated with the organization, to see what they can do as she knows she can’t do it all herself.

“All I can do is post on Twitter and text my senators,” she said. “I feel kind of helpless, I wish there was something more that I can do.”

“Tell Me You Love Me” will be released September 29.
