Minnesota Twins defeat the Oakland A’s in record setting fashion.

Not one, not two…not five but six home runs the Minnesota Twins hit during the 9-1 whopping they gave the A’s Tuesday, May 2. Brian Dozier started the trend, Miguel Sano lit the stadium and Twitter with a two-run 466-feet deep homer, Jason Castro ripped one in the fourth and then along came three more homers in the seventh inning by Byron Buxton, Dozier and Joe Mauer who hit his first of the season.

Six home runs in one game by the Twins is a Target Field record. Twins sit in second place in the AL Central, a half game back from first, at 13-11.
